BMW & MINI WAY FSC code Lifetime
Vehicle-specific Lifetime FSC file for navigation map
updates on compatible BMW and MINI vehicles equipped with an
EntryNav2 head unit, also known as EntryEvo.
This product is intended only for navigation systems using
Road Map WAY. Navigation map data is not included.
Before ordering
Check the navigation map version currently installed in the vehicle:
- Open the Navigation menu.
- Press the OPTION button on the iDrive controller.

Open Navigation settings and select
Position and version. - Select Version information.
- Confirm that the displayed navigation map name contains WAY.
Example:
Road Map Europe WAY 2025-1
Do not order this product if the displayed map type is ROUTE, NEXT, EVO,
LIVE, PREMIUM, MOVE or MOTION.

- Last 7 characters of the VIN
What you will receive
You will receive a vehicle-specific Lifetime FSC file prepared for the
submitted VIN and selected WAY map region.
The supplied FSC file cannot be used in another vehicle.
Installation instructions
- Extract the downloaded WAY navigation map package.

Copy the contents of the map package directly to the root of the USB
flash drive. Do not place the map files inside an additional folder. -
Create a folder named FSC in the root of the USB flash
drive. The folder name must be written in capital letters. -
Copy the received vehicle-specific
.fscfile into the
FSC folder. - Connect the prepared USB flash drive to the vehicle’s USB port.

If the USB drive has been prepared correctly, the navigation system
will detect the map data and offer to start the update. -
Confirm the update and leave the USB flash drive connected until the
installation has been completed.

Important compatibility notice
This product is intended only for compatible EntryNav2 / EntryEvo systems
using Road Map WAY.
Vehicle model, chassis and production year alone are not sufficient to
confirm compatibility. The map version displayed in the vehicle must contain
the word WAY.
