Required: Confirm that the navigation version displayed in
the vehicle contains LIVE.

Region notice: The selected map region must match the region
currently activated in the vehicle. Changing to another region requires a
separate FSC Region Change service.

BMW Road Map LIVE Update

Updated navigation map data for compatible BMW vehicles whose current
navigation version displays Road Map [Region] LIVE.

After purchase, we will provide a temporary download link
containing the selected LIVE map package. No physical USB drive or postal
delivery is included.

Before ordering

Open the Navigation or Maps menu.
Open Settings.
Select Position and version or Map version.
Confirm that the displayed map name contains LIVE.
Check the currently activated navigation region.

Example:
Road Map Europe LIVE 20XX-X

Do not order this product if the displayed map type is JOY, EVO, WAY,
ROUTE, NEXT, PREMIUM, MOVE or MOTION.

Basic USB preparation instructions

The LIVE FSC activation file is not included and must be purchased
separately when required.

Installation instructions

Download all map files using the temporary link supplied after purchase.
Extract the complete navigation map archive on your computer.
Copy the contents of the extracted map folder directly to the root of a
USB flash drive with sufficient capacity.
Do not place the map data inside an additional folder.
If an FSC activation file is required, create a folder named
FSC in the root of the USB flash drive.
Copy the supplied vehicle-specific .fsc file into the FSC folder.
Connect the prepared USB flash drive to a compatible vehicle USB port.
Confirm the navigation update when it appears on the vehicle display.
Keep the USB flash drive connected until installation is completed.

FSC activation

This map package does not include an FSC activation file.

The FSC region must match both the selected LIVE map package and the region
currently activated in the vehicle.

Region change

Installing LIVE maps from a different region is not a standard map update.
A normal LIVE FSC file does not automatically convert the navigation region.

If the required map region differs from the region currently activated in
the vehicle, purchase the separate FSC Region Change
service before starting the update.

Important compatibility notice

Compatibility must be confirmed using the navigation map version displayed
in the vehicle. The version information must contain
Road Map [Region] LIVE.

Vehicle model, chassis, production year or the presence of an MGU head unit
alone is not sufficient to confirm compatibility.
