BMW NBT Retrofit FSC Pack
The NBT Retrofit FSC Pack is intended for compatible BMW
and MINI vehicles equipped with a retrofitted or replacement NBT head unit.
Retrofit FSC certificates activate supported protected functions after the
NBT unit has been correctly installed and prepared for the vehicle. The pack
normally includes the complete available FSC set for the supported NBT
configuration.
Activation method
The activation procedure consists of two main stages:
- Install the supplied patch through the NBT USB port.
- Import the supplied FSC files into the head unit using E-Sys.
This procedure is intended for customers familiar with BMW coding and FSC
import. It is not an automatic one-click activation.
Before activation
The NBT head unit must be technically compatible, correctly installed,
prepared and coded for the vehicle.
A replacement or retrofitted unit may require VIN adaptation, programming,
Vehicle Order coding or other preparation before the patch and FSC files
can be installed successfully.

- Compatible NBT head unit installed in the vehicle
- ENET cable
- Laptop with suitable BMW coding software
- Compatible USB flash drive
- Stable internet connection
- Technical knowledge for patch installation and FSC import
Not included
- USB patch installation
- FSC import through E-Sys
- Vehicle coding or programming
- VIN adaptation of the replacement head unit
- Head-unit flashing or software repair
- Remote installation or diagnostic session
- Hardware installation or retrofit work
Optional technical assistance
Customers with the required equipment and experience may complete the
activation independently.
Remote patch installation, FSC import, coding and related technical work
can be performed by our technical specialist as a separate paid service.
Important limitations
The Retrofit FSC Pack activates supported functions but does not repair
defective hardware, corrupted software or an incorrectly configured NBT
head unit.
Successful activation requires the replacement or retrofitted NBT unit to
be compatible and correctly prepared for the vehicle.
Required information
Provide the correct vehicle VIN when placing the order. In most cases, the
last seven characters are sufficient.
Confirm that the target head unit is NBT. CIC, NBT EVO,
EntryNav2 and MGU systems require their corresponding Retrofit FSC products.
