BMW NBT FSC Repair Pack
The NBT FSC Repair Pack is a vehicle-specific collection
of available factory FSC certificates assigned to the submitted BMW or MINI
vehicle equipped with a compatible NBT head unit.
FSC certificates authorise protected factory functions supported by the
vehicle and head unit. The exact package content depends on the original
equipment and FSC records available for the submitted VIN.
When is an FSC Repair Pack required?
- Replacement of the original NBT head unit
- Installation of another compatible NBT unit during repair
- Recovery after programming, flashing or software intervention
- Restoration of missing, rejected or invalid factory FSC certificates
- Returning the head unit to its original factory FSC configuration
- Recovery after unsuccessful coding, retrofit or previous modification
What is included
- Available factory FSC certificates assigned to the submitted vehicle
- Vehicle-specific NBT FSC Repair Pack files
- Digital delivery
The number and type of FSC certificates may differ between vehicles. The
Repair Pack contains only certificates available for the submitted VIN.
Not included
- Importing FSC certificates into the NBT head unit
- Vehicle coding or programming
- Head-unit flashing or software repair
- VIN adaptation of a replacement head unit
- Remote connection or diagnostic session
- Activation of functions not assigned to the vehicle
- Hardware installation, replacement or retrofit
Installation
The customer receives the FSC Repair Pack files only. Importing the
certificates requires suitable BMW diagnostic software, a compatible
vehicle interface and the necessary technical knowledge.
Customers who cannot perform the import independently may contact our
technical specialist. FSC import, coding and related technical work are
available as a separate paid service.
Important limitations
The Repair Pack restores available factory FSC certificates assigned to the
vehicle. It does not generate new retrofit activations or add options that
were not originally authorised for the submitted VIN.
The Repair Pack does not repair defective NBT hardware, corrupted software
or an incorrectly configured replacement unit. Separate programming, coding
or head-unit preparation may still be required.

Before ordering, confirm that the target head unit is a compatible
NBT system and not CIC, NBT EVO or MGU.
