BMW 1CR FSC – Remote Engine Start Activation
This service activates the factory
Remote Engine Start function on compatible BMW vehicles
using a vehicle-specific 1CR FSC.
Activation is performed through the vehicle’s original electronic systems
without installing third-party remote-start modules, modifying wiring or
interfering with the factory security system.
Compatibility requirements
The vehicle must meet all of the following conditions:
- Petrol engine
- BDC3 body-domain controller
- Automatic transmission
- Compatible iDrive 7 or iDrive 8 system
- Supported vehicle software and configuration
Compatibility must be checked before activation. Vehicle model, production
year or iDrive version alone is not sufficient to confirm support.

Remote installation work is already included in the product price.
How the service works
- Provide the vehicle VIN when placing the order.
- We check the vehicle configuration and compatibility.
- Connect the Windows laptop to the vehicle using an ENET adapter.
- Provide remote access to our technical specialist.
- The specialist installs the FSC and completes the required coding.
- The Remote Engine Start function is checked after activation.

- Laptop running Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Stable internet connection
- Ability to keep the laptop connected to the vehicle during the session
Important limitations
This service is compatible only with supported
petrol-engine vehicles equipped with BDC3.
Diesel, hybrid or otherwise unsupported configurations are not covered
unless compatibility is confirmed separately before ordering.
Purchase of the service does not add missing vehicle hardware or replace
defective control units. The vehicle must be in normal working condition
and have a compatible software configuration.
