BMW NCD 2.0 Secure Coding Files
This service provides vehicle-specific NCD 2.0 files for supported control
units using BMW Secure Coding.
The files are prepared from the vehicle’s FA and SVT data and are intended
for use with a compatible BMW coding environment. This product does not
include remote access, vehicle programming or installation.
Required files
- FA XML file containing the required vehicle configuration
- SVT XML file read from the same vehicle and software context
- Short description of the required coding or retrofit task
The FA and SVT files must belong to the same vehicle configuration.
Incorrect, outdated or mismatched files may prevent a valid result from
being generated.
What you will receive
You will receive a ZIP archive containing the supported NCD 2.0 files,
organised by control unit.
Only supported ECU and CAFD entries will be included. The presence of an ECU
in the submitted SVT does not guarantee that an NCD file can be prepared for
that control unit.
How the service works
- Read and save the FA and SVT XML files from the vehicle.
- Submit both files together with a description of the required task.
- The supplied vehicle and ECU data are checked for compatibility.
- Supported NCD 2.0 files are prepared and delivered as a ZIP archive.
- Apply the appropriate NCD files using a compatible BMW coding setup.
Important notice
The generated files are based on the exact FA, SVT, ECU and software data
supplied with the order. If the vehicle software, FA configuration or ECU
structure changes, a new set of files may be required.
The customer must have the necessary knowledge, software and vehicle
interface to apply the files. Coding, flashing, programming and recovery
work are not included in this product.
